Annual Percentage Yields (APYs) as of February 1, 2026, are variable and subject to change. A Membership Money Market Savings Account (MMSA) is required to become a Star One Credit Union member. To be eligible for rewards, new members must reside, regularly work, or attend school in one of the nine counties within Star One’s field of membership, or be an employee of a Corporate Partner, and must not have had a previous Star One membership or Checking Account. Existing members can receive a $100 gift card for each new member referred, up to a limit of three. New members receive a $200 gift card when they join Star One and open a Checking Account. Rewards are emailed to the email addresses provided by the referrer and new member after the new Membership Savings and Checking Accounts are verified, which may take up to 30 business days after account opening. Star One reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withhold rewards. A minimum deposit of $50 is required to open a Membership MMSA and earn dividends, and $25 is required to open a Checking Account. This promotion may not be combined with any other new membership offer. All new accounts are subject to Star One credit approval, account opening procedures, Truth-in-Savings account and membership terms, disclosures, and fee schedule. Fees may reduce earnings. Minors under the age of 18, and transfers to minor accounts, are not eligible for rewards. Star One Credit Union staff are not eligible for rewards. An Individual Taxpayer Identification Number is required to receive rewards, and rewards may be subject to IRS reporting. Membership is open to individuals living, regularly working, or attending school in Alameda, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and Stanislaus counties.
